When Rosin is broke and rubbed the friction heats the Rosin and sticks to the rope helping the rider keep a grip on the rope when being yanked.
Gloves are what the rider wears on the the hand that he uses to ride/hold onto the bull rope so he doesnt get burns, cuts, and it helps pad the hand from the rope itself
A mouthpiece keeps the rider from slamming his teeth together, and from keeping the rider from swallowing teeth if they get broke or cracked
Flank strap is what makes the bull buck, its tied around the bulls flank loose enough were it feels like the bull can kick it off but tight enough were he can't
