High school bull riding

Bull riding requires balance, flexibility, coordination, and courage. Facing down a 2000 pound bull takes as much mental preparation as it does physical ability. Bull riding is the most dangerous sport in rodeo. A saying used by bull riders is "it's not IF you get hurt, it's WHEN and HOW BAD.".This sport can cause major injury to your body, broken bones, massive bruising, complete crushing of bones, and in severe but VERY RARE cases DEATH, there is an average of 0-3 deaths per year from bulls due to careless actions from riders or personel, and or lack of protective gear. Bull riders are aided by bullfighters to help them make a safe escape. Scoring works like this, two judges give 1-25 points for the cowboy's performance and a 1-25 points for the bulls performance, 100 being the maximum points and considered a perfect score. A good score in bull riding is in the 90's. There has been only one perfect score of 100 in the PRCA done by Wade Leslie.
